2020
We met at Williams College in the early spring of 2020, Kyle a senior and Elizabeth a sophomore. Like the start of every great love story, we were promptly swept off campus by the pandemic but thankfully decided to stay together.
From then on, we spent some years shuttling between Williamstown and Manhattan, and others between Southie and Beacon Hill in Boston. In September of 2024, we packed up the car and drove out to San Francisco together.
Throughout the years, Kyle (an only child) has adopted 4 new siblings, Elizabeth has learned to sometimes give him quiet time, and Kyle has earned his Welch stripes on the ski mountain, even when he sneaks off to après early.
We absolutely love San Francisco and often find ourselves going up north, across the bridge. As a place we visited in the early days with the Dean’s, Healdsburg holds a special place in our heart.
Thank you so much to each of you for supporting us in ways big and small over the years. We cannot wait to celebrate all together in May!
We love Healdsburg for more than the wine, if you can believe it! Oriented around a lovely town plaza, Healdsburg boasts incredible restaurants, art galleries, and even a few dive bars, worry not!
Nestled in Northern California, Healdsburg is also a great jumping off point to the redwoods and coastline, with countless scenic walks, hikes, and golf courses. And yes, you can (and should) also go to the dozens of vineyards and tasting rooms dotting the area.
If you are flying in to SFO and renting a car, we'd suggest exploring some stops on the way up, like Chrissy Field in San Francisco (our stomping grounds!) or Rodeo Beach and Point Reyes across the bridge. Please reach out if you need any recommendations!
